The U.S. Navy is trying to answer the question - was a black sailor murdered because of his race or because he was gay?
Military officials say they have launched a full investigation into the death of Navy Seaman August Provost III, who was found shot to death, execution-style, while standing duty at a guard station at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, near San Diego. Authorities say he was shot three times, his hands and feet bound, his mouth gagged, and body burned.
I truely feel for his family - you go into the service to 'serve and protect' for your country and this is what happens? I'm enraged our gay men and women have to fight our families, media and society.

Either way, black or gay, it is still a hate crime! What more do they need to investigate!
